                                                                                                                                                                    MY STORY

I am a trained Early Childhood Waldorf Teacher in Corvallis, Oregon.

I am at home with the spiritual science of Anthroposophy;

               it is a light shining into the darkness

               a balance between all opposing forces

               a monistic rainbow bending to earth

               from the clouds of duality thinking.

My present life focus is continuing the work with Waldorf Early Childhood Education, first directly in the Waldorf world, as a preschool teacher, and in the future I hope to open my own Waldorf preschool in Mount Shasta. As adults we must give young children room to be imaginative and play in this world that is new to them. To provide a rhythmical, nurturing place for them to return to everyday as they grow and their experience of the world begins to change. To remove hindrances from the pathway of each individual child is no simple task, and so we adults must begin by looking within. The ability to transform and grow from our own personal pasts creates ripe and rich soul food for the children, and is one of the most important roles of the Waldorf EC teacher. It is my responsibility as an educator to clearly see the manifold picture of each child in my class. Through integrative movement, song and play, I nurture those areas which need nurturing and hold a gentle space for the children to continue dreaming during our time together.

I graduated from University of Michigan in 2011 with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts, focus areas in communication, philosophy and film. I moved to California to pursue film-making at a small film studio in Oakland, and there continued my education in fine art. The favorite part of my day is after lunch, lulling the children into dreams and then to sleep with lullabies and lyre music.

As of Autumn 2023, I am the preschool teacher at Corvallis Waldorf School. I am presently continuing my education of child development, movement, the Mood of the Fifth, and esoteric Christianity. I am enrolled at Dancing Hands Frolicking Voices two-year play program. I sing the Corvallis Hazelwood Choir with a few colleagues.

At a young age, I could feel the weight of the world and took it on as my own. When the weight became too heavy I was blessed with a supportive group of friends. They challenged my inner and outer perceptions and gave me space to grow personally and professionally. My spirituality comes from my direct experiences in this life, my challenges, interests and emotions. In 2016, I felt a strong spirit within and my whole world came together; an epiphany as the hollow-mainstream-truths about religion, science and history became filled with deep and often hidden stories about the human experience. In 2019, I discovered Anthroposophy, a life philosophy that deeply weaves together truths expressed in Christianity and Buddhism. The mysteries revealed in Anthroposophy by Rudolf Steiner are the truer than true picture of humanity that lives in my heart. In peace, at one with the Universe, God, the I AM that I AM. I am home again, comforted knowing the permeating forces in the mystery of the Christ: the power of forgiveness and the timelessness of love. I still have my challenges and lessons to learn, and as they approach me, through Christ I have lightness and patience to rest upon.

I am grateful to be present on Earth during the dawn of Aquarius. I see humanity awakening, each individual in their unique way, and I want to be of service. I want to help your children become who they are in complete freedom; I want them to feel seen and loved for who they are. I want to provide a soul enriching and deeply nourishing space for them to grow from. All awakened ones, united by Mother Earth, Father Sky, centered in Christ can bring light from within to those who only know darkness. What is inner becomes outer. The deepest depths and lightest lights of my heart tell me that we all have the power within us to be great.

Peace be with you, dear one.
